MetaHuman Creator is designed to revolutionize the creation of digital characters and human-like avatars for a wide range of applications, including video games, virtual reality experiences, film and television production, architectural visualization, and more.

For this groundbreaking project, my role involved retopology and scan matching, where I meticulously crafted lifelike 3D models of human faces. I focused on capturing intricate details, facial anatomy, expressions, and unique characteristics to create highly realistic digital representations. Leveraging cutting-edge software, I sculpted faces that set new benchmarks for realism and emotional depth.

In the delicate balance between art and technical precision, retopology artists skillfully shape not just geometry but the essence of human expression. Their work ensures the seamless integration of art and technology, delivering captivating results in interactive media, cinematic experiences, and beyond.

As a character modeler, I typically begin with a high-polygon 3D model, often from a scan or sculpt. My primary task is to optimize the mesh by reducing unnecessary polygons and refining topology, all while preserving essential details. This process is crucial in transforming high-detail models into production-ready assets, streamlining them for efficient use in various creative applications.
